The predecessor to role-playing classic EarthBound is finally released in the UK, but is it anything more than a historical curio?

Our original intention for the first half of this week was to catch up on those few games released during E3, which we weren’t able to cover at the time. The comically awful Alone In The Dark: Illumination was yesterday, and today we had planned Nintendo’s Western release of the predecessor to EarthBound. But that schedule has taken on an unexpected significance given that EarthBound is one of the games with which Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata is most closely associated.
