Konami’s attempts to erase all mention of Hideo Kojima from the marketing for Metal Gear continue, as reports suggest his studio has been disbanded.

The final box art for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been released and it doesn’t mention anything about creator Hideo Kojima or his studio Kojima Productions.

As you can see from the comparison above, as pointed out on NeoGAF, the box used to say ‘A Hideo Kojima Game’ – as have all Metal Gear Soild games in recent years.
