Pokémon Go Players Experience Shiny Pokémon Glitch During Adventure Week

MOBILE GAMING: Pokémon Go fans have been unable to spot shiny pokémon in the game until they catch them and go into the pokémon list

Pokémon Go fans have been unable to spot shiny pokémon in the game until they catch them and go into the pokémon list. Many players will be hoping to get a shiny catch this week as part of the Adventure Week event which creates a higher spawn rate for some pokémon.

As a temporary solution, players should be able to fix the problem by restarting the game, which then makes the shiny pokémon appear how they are meant to. It is also still possible to know if they are shiny by looking at the catch screen, so players will need to stay alert to make sure they don’t miss on the opportunity to catch any.

What is the Pokémon Go Adventure Week event? Adventure Week is the latest event to be added to Pokémon Go, giving players more opportunities to collect special Pokémon and complete various in-game challenges. This includes a unique Field Research challenge that will give players special rewards.

Rock-type Pokémon such as Geodude, Lileep, and Nosepass will also be appearing more frequently in the wild, making it a great opportunity for players to hunt them down and catch them if they are missing from their collection. Aerodactyl will also be available to take on in raid battles during Adventure Week, and there are also opportunities to earn bonus XP and candy.

The event started on Thursday 24 May and is set to end on Tuesday 5 June.
